I'm a mid-twenties geek lady that loves pastry almost as much as she loves Star Trek. I live with my husband and two cats, who are named Eggs Benedict and French Toast. I love them almost as much as I love Star Trek, too.

My username is a pun on my name and the word "catawampous" (or cattywampus, depending whence you hail). I chose it because it is the best word.

I went to culinary school for baking and pastry, but the majority of the skills I have were developed in professional kitchens. I currently nanny instead of baking professionally, but baking will be my true love for as long as George R.R. Martin is still writing the Song of Ice and Fire series. So, like, probably until I'm dead. (I kid. Love you, George!)
